Set on Buderim's eastern slopes with sweeping views across the Sunshine Coast to Mooloolaba, Headland Golf Club has been a favourite with golfers and locals since the 1950s. Its clubhouse, home to the Vista @Headland restaurant, is as much a part of the club's appeal as the course itself, hosting everyday dining, weddings, functions and social golf groups.
Nextrend was engaged to refresh the furniture throughout the clubhouse, creating a cohesive look that complements the coastal outlook while standing up to the demands of a busy club venue.
In the dining areas, stackable Rialto dining chairs in a teak frame with mocha upholstery sit alongside Charleston Chairs with oak frames and navy vinyl seats. Tables were finished in Natural Oak and Native Australian woodgrain melamine on Seattle folding bases, giving the club flexible layouts that can be reconfigured quickly for functions and events.
The bar and lounge spaces combine Sorbet chairs and Sorbet stools in mocha fabric, with the chairs finished in a black diamond-stitched vinyl on the outer shell, alongside Bordeaux barstools and Tom Bar 75 stools with custom seat cushions. Bar-height dining is delivered through A-Frame and Spire bar frames, Bondi disc bases and Seattle bar folding bases, paired with compact laminate tops in Vesuvius Ceppo. Disco table bases were also cut down to coffee-table height to create relaxed low seating.
The result is a warm, contemporary clubhouse that makes the most of Headland's views and gives members and guests comfortable, durable seating throughout every space.
