Known locally as The Rex, Pagewood Hotel has been welcoming Maroubra and East Sydney locals for years. Its relaxed, family-friendly bistro offers classic pub dining and provides a comfortable meeting place for families, friends and workmates.
Nextrend was engaged to complete the furniture fitout across the hotel’s refreshed bar and bistro areas. The project brought together a carefully selected combination of readily available stocked furniture and purpose-designed custom pieces, creating a cohesive result while meeting the different seating requirements throughout the venue.
Custom Bourbon Armchairs and upholstered Dallas Booths introduced comfortable, inviting seating to the bistro, while Crescent Bar Stools and Portland Stools provided practical options for bar, dining and casual gathering areas.
Custom melamine table tops were manufactured to suit the venue’s layout and paired with a selection of Nextrend’s stocked commercial table bases, including the Disco, Square 50 and Rectangle Table Bases. This combination provided Pagewood Hotel with durable, functional tables in the sizes and configurations required for everyday hospitality service.
By combining custom furniture with dependable stocked products, Nextrend helped Pagewood Hotel create welcoming bar and dining spaces that complement the character of this much-loved local venue.
