Nextrend was proud to contribute to the launch of The Q, Queensland’s premier greyhound racing venue located in Purga, Ipswich. With just six weeks to complete the project, our team successfully delivered a full furniture fitout across the venue’s Bar, Alfresco Areas, and Dining Spaces—on time and to specification.
Working in collaboration with BSPN Architects, who led the design, Nextrend utilised its extensive stock holdings and strong relationships with local suppliers to provide custom furniture solutions that aligned with the architectural vision and the venue’s operational needs.

Backed by a $44.15 million investment from the Racing Infrastructure Fund, The Q is set to become the heart of greyhound racing in Queensland. It unites the Brisbane and Ipswich Greyhound Racing Clubs at a cutting-edge facility featuring three distinct tracks—Q1 Lakeside, Q2 Parklands, and Q Straight—engineered for optimal safety and performance.
With state-of-the-art amenities, a strong commitment to animal welfare, and a surrounding precinct known as Parklands for community engagement, The Q is more than a racing venue—it’s a destination. Nextrend is proud to have played a part in shaping this landmark project, delivering stylish and functional spaces that enhance the visitor experience.
