Club Northern Beaches in Mackay has recently completed a landmark $17 million renovation, transforming the venue into a modern, multi-zone destination built to support major growth. With membership increasing from around 4,000 to 20,000, the project was delivered over five years and designed to create a premium experience for members across the entire club.
Nextrend was proud to be selected to supply and deliver the complete furniture fitout for the renovation, covering key areas including bistro dining spaces, alfresco zones, gaming rooms, lounges and more. The club’s vision was to introduce a wide range of new facilities — from a morning café and sports bar through to a gaming lounge, boardroom, barber shop and retail areas — while maintaining a consistent coastal identity aligned with the venue’s “beaches” theme.
General Manager Doug highlighted the collaborative and hands-on process, from reviewing floor plans through to final furniture selection, including in-person product trials to ensure comfort and quality.
Despite shifting construction timelines, Nextrend worked closely with the club team to ensure delivery and installation remained seamless. The result is a refreshed venue with strong patron feedback, where the furniture plays a key role in creating comfort, atmosphere, and a high-end finish throughout.
